Let’s talk about kingwest dental studio, we believe that education is an ongoing commitment and a lifetime of learning, and that dental education must be a continuum that extends throughout one’s professional career. Dr. Sobhi has been an active member of a variety of dental and allied professional organizations including the Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations, International Congress of Oral Implantology, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Sobhi completed her studies at the University of Toronto and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007. In 2012, she started her first clinic – Kingwest Dental. Since then, she has practiced general dentistry, implantology, full mouth reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry. Her passion for cosmetic dentistry and her life’s commitment to education have shaped her career. She is an active member of a variety of dental and allied professional organizations including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Canadian and Ontario Dental Associations, International Congress of Oral Implantology and the Academy of General Dentistry.
After fourteen years of practice, Dr. Sobhi understands and appreciates that every patient is unique and so should be their treatment options. She truly believes that dentistry is both an art and science and that perfection lies in a personalized and thorough approach to care.
Dr. Sobhi is most passionate about the care of her patients and training her team to provide the utmost in service and care.
Dr. Sobhi’s talents span beyond excellence in dentistry. She is a proficient pianist and tennis player. She is very athletic and active.
In her spare time (surprising she has any), she loves hanging out with her close-knit family and her true love: her precious poodle, Coco. Her favorite food is steak and fries.
Dr. Ori completed her undergraduate degree, with honors, in Human Biology and Psychology. She then went to New York University and graduated in 2013 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree.
Upon her return, she dedicated the first few years of her practice to mastering her craft and shortly thereafter, joined her sister (our Dr. Sobhi) at Kingwest Dental. Dr. Ori feels fortunate to be able to continue her career with the distinct advantage of her sister’s mentorship.
Over the years, Dr. Ori has come to recognize patient education, communication and empathy as the pillars of a successful and lasting relationship with her patients. She strives to implement them in every treatment she provides.
Her special interest in dentistry lies in clear aligner therapy and has transformed many smiles over the years. She believes that our best feature is our smile, and when we are confident in our smile we tend to show it more!
Her favorite hobby is playing tennis. She enjoys the challenge and strive to improve with every match! Her favorite food is pasta with a great glass of wine.
Dr. Mo received his dental degree in 2010 from the University of Baghdad, College of Dentistry. After practicing in Iraq for six years, Dr. Mo and his wife, our own Dr. Marwah, emigrated to Canada.
Dr. Mo has 10 years’ experience as a general dentist, with one year experience as a resident in maxillo-facial surgery. He is most interested in root canal procedures which allow him to save teeth when possible.
Dr. Mo is passionate about dentistry and enjoys practicing every day. He is keen to meet and educate patients and he gains great personal satisfaction in providing his patients with complete information about their oral health.
In his spare time, Dr. Mo loves being with his beautiful wife and family. His hobbies include travelling, soccer, tennis and music. His favorite food is steak.
Coco is our 12-year-old clinic mascot. She joined us as a puppy and has spent the past 12 years learning about patient care and supporting our dental team. Her passions include ensuring we work hard in the service of our patients, being served and sleeping in the sun.
When Coco isn’t working hard at the office, she enjoys long walks, looking down her nose at other dogs and really good belly rubs.
Coco’s favorite food is everything!
